Bryan Gorrie, Associate Marriage Family Therapist
As a clinician at Kindred Heart Therapy Group, I want to help people improve their lives so that they can be free from anxiety and trauma, walk a path they want to walk, and achieve meaningful goals. Therapy can support this by providing a forum for sharing with another person, developing skills, and learning to value yourself for your uniqueness.
I believe in the intrinsic value of each individual. I want to be a compassionate listener to whatever my clients are there to share with me. I seek to help you find your way through, to help you find your own solutions. I trust that with support you can find your way back to yourself and to the healing that you desire.
I served in the US Marine Corps for 7 years and have traveled to many different countries. I have a background in the arts and worked in theatre production, as an actor, and in the fine arts as a painter and printmaker. I also worked for years as an archaeologist, studying the people of the past and being curious about their choices, their habits, and their destinies. I am trained in EMDR and sand tray therapy for clients of all ages. I am excited to bring those skills to supporting my clients in therapy.
